Solid wood and a hand-stitched shade, glowing low and warm.
Sidney starts with a robust wooden base that shows off the natural grain, then adds a fabric shade with a handcrafted finish. Stitching runs along the edge of the shade, an artisanal detail you notice up close. The fabric diffuses the bulb into a soft, even light, so the lamp sets a relaxed mood rather than lighting a room like a ceiling fixture would.
Walnut color or black. Walnut brings warmth to a bedroom with linen and light woods; black gives a sharper outline against a pale wall. Either way it belongs beside a bed, a reading chair or a desk.

Quiet warmth on the wall
Sidney puts turned wood and a pleated shade where a bare bulb or a table lamp used to be, and the whole corner softens. It elevates a reading chair or a bedside.
Light you can live with
The fabric shade turns the bulb into a warm, even wash that falls down the wall and across whatever you are reading. It is the light you reach for last at night.
A pull chain you notice
A wooden bead hangs from the chain, so switching Sidney on is a pleasure rather than a fumble for a wall plate. Off, the wood and cloth still read as warm and tactile.

Yes, one either side of a bed or a sofa gives you balance and two pools of light instead of one. Two saves you ten percent when you buy them together.
-
Walnut color warms a room with linen and pale wood, and black draws a cleaner outline against white paint. Both keep the pleated shade as the soft part.
-
Warm wood, soft cloth and a wooden bead on a chain. Sidney looks like something that has always been there, which is why it works in daylight too.
