Light through paper, the way morning sun comes through a shoji screen.
The shade is hand-formed mulberry washi paper, made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree and prized for its strength and translucency. It diffuses the bulb into a soft, warm glow, much like sunlight through traditional paper doors. Every pendant has its own fiber pattern, texture and slight color variation, which is what real washi looks like. It takes an E26 or E27 bulb, LED or Edison, not included, and hangs on white wires.
Three diameters, one silhouette. Model 26A suits an entryway, a bedroom or a small dining table, Model 21A carries a larger dining table or a living room, and Model 15A becomes a centerpiece in a double-height space, a restaurant or a hotel lobby. All three share the same white shade and wires.

A paper moon overhead
Jed's shade is hand formed mulberry washi paper on a metal frame, a soft white silhouette that calms a room the moment you walk in. It elevates a dining table, an entryway or a bedroom.
Soft as a shoji screen
Light passes through the washi into a soft, warm glow, much like sunlight through traditional paper doors. Jed makes a quiet morning or a long dinner feel serene and unhurried.
Texture you notice every day
Every Jed shade has its own fiber pattern, texture and slight color variation, which is what real washi looks like. Switched off, the paper still reads light and natural against the ceiling.
