It is built for sloped and vaulted ceilings: the shade hangs naturally vertical whatever the angle, so it looks right in an attic room, a loft or under a stair. It mounts just as cleanly on a flat ceiling. It takes a standard E26 or E27 bulb, LED or Edison, not included.
