A boxy enameled metal body carries a magnetic spotlight head that swings, tilts or comes off with one hand, plus a chunky cylindrical handle and a toggle switch on top like an analog control panel. It draws on the playful industrial design of 1970s and 1980s Italy. It reads as a sculptural object even when it is off. It takes an MR16 / GU5.3 bulb, LED recommended, not included.
Three enamel colors. Red is the boldest on a desk or a bookshelf, green suits a workbench or a studio, and beige is the quietest at a bedside. It plugs in, with a push-button switch on the cord.
