The shade is hand-blown glass in a rounded, slightly flattened shape, soft enough to feel organic and neat enough to read as modern. A single E26 or E27 bulb sits at its center, so the bulb becomes part of the look; a vintage Edison-style filament bulb shows it best. A slim black canopy and cord keep the hardware quiet. Being hand-blown, each shade varies slightly in thickness, texture and color.
