Meredith is a raven with a bare bulb held in its beak.
The bird is a hand-detailed resin sculpture on metal, finished in white or black, and the E14 socket sits in the beak so the bulb is both the light source and the centerpiece of the piece. Fit an Edison-style filament bulb and the glow comes out warm amber with the filament in plain view, which is the look the whole design was built around. Output is that of one exposed bulb, so it behaves like an object that happens to light up rather than a lamp you would work by.
Two poses, and they suit different surfaces. Perched lies long and low, which reads well along a console, a mantel or a stretch of bookshelf. Standing sits up and carries the bulb higher, better on a desk or a bedside table where the light lands nearer eye level. White stays quiet against a dark wall; black nearly vanishes until the bulb is on.

A conversation piece on display
Meredith is a raven with the bulb held in its beak, so the light itself becomes the centerpiece. It elevates a console, a mantel, a bookshelf, a desk or a bedside table with real character.
A warm filament glow
Fit an Edison style filament bulb and Meredith glows warm amber with the filament in plain view, exactly the look the design was built around. The light comes straight from the beak, so every eye follows it.
Two poses, easy to place
Perched lies long and low along a console or a shelf, while Standing sits up and carries the light nearer eye level on a desk or a bedside table. It plugs into any outlet, with the switch on the cord.

Frequently asked questions
-
Beautifully. A perched raven and a standing one at either end of a mantel or a console tell their own story, and buying two saves you 10 percent, three saves 20.
-
White stays quiet against a dark wall and reads as a sculpture day and night. Black nearly vanishes until the bulb is on, so the glow seems to hang in the raven's beak.
-
Like a sculpture. The raven holds its pose with the bulb resting in its beak, so Meredith looks deliberate and full of character on a shelf whether it is lit or not.
