Lottie is a mid-century floor lamp built for tight spaces. A slim gold stand in iron takes up little floor, and the adjustable shade tilts to direct the light where it is needed, onto a book, a desk or a sofa arm. It takes an E26 or E27 bulb and switches on from the cord.
Black or white shade. Black is the classic mid-century contrast against the gold; white is lighter and disappears more easily into a pale room. Put it next to a reading chair, the end of a sofa or a desk that needs its own light.
