Zeuxippe is a line drawing in steel that happens to give light.
It is built from lacquered aluminum and steel with brass ball joints, and it keeps the details of the design: the way the arms meet the reflectors, the washer and six-sided screw hardware, the shape of the reflector, the thin lines of the steel tubes. Nothing is hidden behind a cover, so the hardware is part of what you are looking at. Each head carries its own reflector and its own bulb, which means the light falls in separate pools rather than one flat wash. Body and shade come in the same finish, black or white.
Three heads is the version for a dining table, a desk or a seating group — one fixture covering one gathering place. Five heads is for a room with length to fill: a kitchen island, a hallway, a long living room where you want light reaching more than one spot. Black holds its lines against a pale ceiling and reads graphic from across the room; white settles back and lets the shape do the work. You can hang it from the ceiling as a pendant, or mount it on the wall for a more angled, dramatic look.
