Amatheia is wood and iron, and it does not ask for a second look.
Metal and wood, put together with the restraint that lets a fixture disappear into a room instead of competing with it. The wood carries the warmth and the iron carries the discipline. Its LED is built in and warm at 3000K, drawing about 5W — cheap enough to leave on all evening. A pull chain covers the case where the wall switch is in the wrong place.
Two wood tones. Walnut reads richer against white plaster or a dark floor; wood color stays pale and suits oak, rattan and linen. Either works in a corridor, over a chair, or in a bedroom that wants a light present without making it the point of the wall.
