Kymothoe - Wave-Draped Linen Table Lamp
Kymothoe is a length of linen caught mid-fall over a wooden base.
The shade is linen-color fabric that drapes like a cresting wave over a wooden base, and the base comes in a walnut color or a black finish. It takes a standard E26 or E27 bulb, not included, and a warm 2700K LED or Edison filament suits it best. The fabric does the work here: light passes through the weave and comes out soft and even, so it reads as a glow on the table rather than a bright point. It plugs into the wall with an inline on/off switch on the cord, so no wiring and no electrician — set it down, plug it in, done.
Two bases, two rooms. Walnut color is the warm one, and it sits naturally on a bedside table or a timber sideboard where the wood grain of the room can pick it up. Black is the sharper choice, a solid dark anchor under the pale linen that looks right on a white console or a desk in a room with darker fittings. Both carry the same shade.
