Morpheus is a lamp with somewhere to put a plant.
The body is genuine travertine coated matte black, with a cavity at the top for a small one — trailing greenery over black stone is the whole idea, and the plant is yours to supply. The head is walnut-accented and comes off magnetically, which is how you charge it and how you change the angle it throws. It runs off a built-in battery, charges over USB, and gives about four hours on a charge. Travertine forms through thousands of years of physical and chemical change, and the pores under the coating still belong to the block it came from.
One size, one finish, and nothing to wire. It mounts on its own and runs off the battery, so it can go on a wall with no circuit behind it at all — a rented flat, plaster you would rather not open up, a spot in a hallway that was never meant to have a light. The trade is those four hours, so treat it as an evening light rather than the one you leave on.
