Kelaino is a disc of blackened stone that turns to face wherever the room needs it.
The shade is a circle of genuine travertine, textured for an antique finish and coated matte black so the whole stone reads as one deep tone. Under it sits smooth natural walnut — dark textured stone against clean pale wood, which is the entire idea. The LED is integrated and runs warm, and the head pivots ninety degrees each way, so the light ends up pointing where you want it rather than where the wiring was. The pore structure survives under the black coating, and no two pieces of travertine were ever laid down the same.
One size, one finish, so the only real decision is how you turn it on. A wall switch keeps the fixture bare and puts the control by the door, which suits a living room. A pull chain puts it on the fixture itself — the answer beside a bed, or in a hallway where nobody ran a switch in the first place.

It comes with an ultra-thin metal plate that covers a standard junction box. You do not have to use it — the walnut base mounts flat to the wall on its own if you would rather see less hardware.
