Eurydike is a circle of dark stone resting on a block of walnut, and it plugs into the wall.
A circular black travertine shade, textured for an antique finish, sits on a smooth natural walnut base. The travertine is genuine stone given a matte black surface, so none of its heft or its roughness is lost to the finish. The head turns ninety degrees to each side, a full half-circle of aim from a fixture that only plugs in. Its LED is built in at 5W and 3000K.
The stone and the size are fixed; the cord is the reason to pick this version. It comes with a six-foot lead and a standard US plug and switches from a pull chain on the fixture — mount the base, run the cord to an outlet, and it works.
