Sarpedon bends its light on the way out and never sends it the same way twice.
A black metal body carrying a clear acrylic lens, with the LED integrated. The lens is prismatic and textured, so the light arrives broken up rather than flat — it travels across the face of the fixture instead of sitting still on it. Ten watts, and nothing to unscrew or replace. The frame is black enough to get out of the way of what the lens is doing, which is the right call for a piece whose whole argument is the light.
Warm or cool, and on this fixture that is a real decision rather than a preference. Warm reads domestic and belongs in a hallway, a bedroom, a stairwell you cross at night.
