Kastalia is a narrow metal column of warm light, mounted on the wall.
All metal. The diode lives inside the fixture and the button lives on its face, which removes both the trailing flex and the trip to buy a bulb. At 3W and a steady 3000K, this reads in bed without waking the room. The head angles, so you point the light at the page rather than at the room, and the finish is the part you actually choose.
Gold announces itself, so put it somewhere it will be seen — beside a headboard, or flanking a mirror. Black removes the fixture from the picture and leaves you the light alone, which is what a corridor asks for. White belongs on plaster, where nothing should interrupt the run.
