Soteria is wood carrying white glass.
Two materials only: a wooden body, a white glass shade, and an E26 socket rated to 40W behind it. Wood on a wall fitting does what metal cannot — it stops the thing reading as hardware. Switching is doubled up, a push button on the fixture plus a pull cord, so whichever hand reaches first will find one.
They build one combination, wood with white, which leaves the wall to settle. It wires into the wall, so the position is decided once and stays decided.
