Aigle is stone that took thousands of years to form, cut thin enough to let the light through.
Each shade is cut from a single piece of yellow travertine and set on a wood frame with slim metal arms, with matching covers over every screw. The LED is built in and throws its light through the stone rather than past it, so what reaches the room is an even wash rather than a bright spot. The veining is different on every shade — the stone is cut, not made, and no two pieces of it match. Two pairings are offered: a natural wood frame with brass arms and screw covers, or a dark walnut frame with black. Both are damp-rated, so a bathroom wall is fair game.
Choose the run to suit the wall. Two lights beside a bed or down a narrow hallway, where the fixture should read as trim rather than as furniture. Three above a vanity, which spreads light across the width of a mirror instead of dropping it in one place. Four along a wide bedroom wall, when you want the wall itself to be the thing people look at.

It hardwires and runs off an ordinary wall switch, not a plug. One thing worth passing to your electrician before the day of the install: the body is narrower than a standard US junction box, so it takes a mounting accessory to cover the opening.
