Koios runs a length of quarried stone down the wall and lights both ends of it.
Yellow travertine on a wood mount, cut as a long column. The output goes both ways — upward and downward at once, so the wall carries two soft washes rather than one bright patch. Each column is cut from natural stone, so the veining and the surface texture belong to that piece alone. Its socket is an ordinary E26 or E27, which keeps replacement a five-minute job a decade from now.
Two profiles and four heights in each. The cylinder is the softer of the two and settles into a bedroom or a lounge; the square profile is sharper and holds up better against modern joinery and hard flooring. Height is where the real decision sits — the shortest reads as an accent beside a doorway, and the longest turns a hallway or a stairwell into a piece of architecture. Dark walnut or wood color underneath, according to what the floor is doing.
