Karpo is a bowl of stone tipped against the wall and filled with light.
Yellow travertine, wood and glass. The bowl form is what softens the output — the light collects and spills rather than pointing at anything, which is why it suits a room you want to feel calm in rather than see clearly in. Its G9 socket keeps brightness adjustable long after the fixture is on the wall. No two bowls carry the same markings, because no two pieces of the stone did.
Two wood tones share one stone. Walnut is the warmer and richer, and it stands up on a white wall; wood color is lighter and sits back. It is the sort of fixture that does well in multiples — three down a hallway, or a pair over a console — because the form is quiet enough to repeat without becoming noise.
