Dryope is warm wood under a soft fabric shade, lit from within.
The base is wood in a walnut color with metal accents, and a plain fabric shade sits over the top. That is the whole idea: natural material below, soft light above, nothing to fuss over. The fabric shade diffuses the bulb into a warm, even glow rather than throwing a hard circle of light, so it works as the lamp you switch on in the evening and leave on. Put a warm 2700K Edison bulb behind the fabric and the wood and the shade read as one warm object from across the room.
Three shade colors, one walnut-color base. Tan is the closest match to the wood, so the lamp reads as a single warm piece on a bedside table. Beige is lighter and quieter, and lets the light be the thing you notice on a hallway console or a desk.
