Nemertes is half a dome of stone, and the light comes through it rather than out of it.

Travertine and metal, nothing else. The stone is left smooth, so the surface diffuses instead of scattering and what reaches the wall is the warm end of dusk rather than daylight. A 5W LED at 3000K is sealed inside, which removes the commonest way to spoil a stone fixture — the wrong bulb. A common push switch is all it needs.

It comes in a single version, and it hugs the wall — exactly what is wanted above a bed, along a narrow passage, or anywhere a deeper fitting would keep catching a sleeve. It also works well low down, near a skirting, where it becomes the light you leave on at night.
