Oreithyia is a doodle that stood up and switched itself on.
A curvy, wavy metal stem in black carries a pleated fabric shade folded in the manner of Japanese origami. The stem is sculpture even when the lamp is off, and the pleats turn a single bulb into warm, diffused light through the folds rather than a bright point. It takes an E14 candelabra bulb, not included, and a 2700K LED or Edison filament bulb is the one to buy for it. It plugs in, with a push-button switch inline on the cord, so it goes wherever there is an outlet and needs no wiring.
Three shades, one black stem. Beige is the soft one and belongs on a bedside table or in a reading corner, where it warms a neutral room without competing with it.
