Ouranie is a line of light drawn from the ceiling to the floor.
A tension cable runs from an anchor in the ceiling down to a natural marble counterweight on the floor, and conical metal shades sit at even intervals along it. The shades are gold on a black body, and the marble base is finished matte black — the veining is the stone's own and never repeats. Each shade holds an integrated warm-white LED, so what you get is a soft, warm glow at several heights rather than one bright point, and the pull cable lets you move the shades to where you want them. It plugs into a wall outlet on a switched cord, but it does need a screw-mounted anchor point in the ceiling to hold the cable taut.
Pick the count to suit the space. One head is enough beside an armchair, where it does the job of a reading light. Two suit a corner of a living room that wants something upright and quiet. Three hold their own beside a stair, where the eye follows the cable up. Four are for a double-height space, where the full run of shades becomes the thing people notice first.

Not for the power. It plugs into a wall outlet on a 59.1 inch cord with a switch on the cord. You do need a screw fixed anchor point in the ceiling to hold the cable taut.

No. The lights are built in at about 3 watts each and stay at one level, a warm white 3000K. There is no bulb to change either.

One is enough beside an armchair. Two suit a living room corner. Three follow a stairwell nicely, and four are for a tall, double height room. Every version is the same 137.8 inches.
