Hegemone holds a hood of black stone that turns toward whatever you are reading.
A walnut wood backplate anchors the fixture, and the head — porous black travertine — pivots on it, cradling an opal glass diffuser. The stone directs and the glass softens, so the beam is focused without ever becoming a spotlight. The travertine is genuine, given a matte black surface that leaves the weight and pore structure intact. Operation is by pull chain, and the G9 bulb you fit sets everything about the warmth.
Nothing here is configurable, and the pivot is the reason to buy it. Angle the head down and it lights a book; level it and it washes the wall behind. A pair aimed the same way gives a corridor a direction it did not have.
