Kreousa is a glass globe held out on plated metal.
Iron, metal and glass: the globe comes in one of three colors and the body is plated in copper or chrome. An E14 socket rated to 15W sits inside, which keeps the bulb out of sight behind the glass. Being a globe, it throws in all directions rather than downward: your walls get as much light as your floor, and nothing casts a hard edge.
Two metals against three glasses, six ways to buy it. Chrome and white glass is the tamest pairing — stairs, hallways, anywhere the job is light and nothing more. Copper plated with beige turns warm and faintly period, at home in a dining room or on a landing. Pale pink is the committed choice: save it for a bedroom, or for wherever somebody gets dressed.
