Kallianassa is a metal cylinder you turn toward whatever you are doing.
Metal, in one of four colors, hanging on a bracket that screws to the wall — the lamp clips on and lifts off, so moving it later never means touching the screws again. Its shade turns through 350°, which is enough that one fitting covers reading in bed and washing a wall depending where you leave it pointing. It plugs into a socket; no electrician required.
White, gray, green or black, and that is the entire decision. White and gray stay out of the argument, which helps in a bedroom with enough happening in it. Black draws a firm mark against a pale wall. Green is the one with an opinion, so give it somewhere with little else competing.
