Thetis puts white marble on brass and leaves both of them showing.
Brass with a gold finish, carrying marble shades. Behind them sits a G9 bulb, the small bi-pin kind, so an LED or an Edison filament will both go in. The supplier is straight about the stone, and so are we: marble is quarried, and the pattern that arrives will not be the pattern in the photograph. That is the trade you make for real stone, and it is a good one. Brass and white together read warm rather than showy — the finish is doing the work, not the shine.
