Ianassa is glass someone blew by mouth, hung on a metal arm.
Brass, glass, metal. Its shade was blown by mouth rather than pressed, and the clear version carries an embossed optic pattern that breaks the light up as it leaves instead of letting it flood out flat. White glass does the opposite and softens everything. Note the socket: it wants a G9 capsule bulb, never the usual screw fitting.
Brass is the premium metal and costs more for a reason: it warms as it ages and it flatters the clear optic glass. Copper runs redder and reads more crafted. Black is the restrained option and lets the glass do everything. Pair clear glass with brass or copper when you want sparkle; take white glass with black when you want calm.
