Orseis is a soft cap of light sitting on a smooth cone.
Metal and ceramics — a conical base under a mushroom-cap top, in the original's own words. Inside is a 2000 mAh cell, which is the specification that actually matters on a lamp with no cord: roughly three hours wide open, closer to ten turned down. It makes warm light and nothing else, so there is no setting here to get wrong, and a touch brings it on.
Three colors, none of them a hedge. Green is the calmest and the easiest to leave out all year long. Orange turns into an object in the room, so give it a shelf or a windowsill that catches an eye on the way past. Gray will agree with whatever room you put it in.
