Eupheme is a white mouse that carries a bulb around the house.
Resin and metal, finished white, and the finish is realistic enough that people pick it up before they work out it is a lamp. There are three of them — the original calls them Step, Lop and Mac — and each one stands, sits or lies differently. You switch it with a button partway down the flex, and it lives on a plug: nothing wired, nothing permanent.
They are sold singly, and which one you want depends on where it goes. The tallest stands up and reads best on an open shelf with room above it. The middle one belongs on a windowsill or beside a bed. The longest lies flat — put that one on a low console or in a child's room, where it looks less placed than stopped for a rest.
