Kleocharia is a smooth plastic shade set on polished chrome.
Metal and plastic: polished metal below, a smooth plastic shade above, a G9 inside. Plastic carries a worse reputation than it deserves on a shade — it diffuses more evenly than glass and it does not chip. Nothing switches on the fixture itself, so it needs a wall switch already on the circuit.
Chrome is the body across all three; the shade carries the decision. White will suit any room and outlive any scheme in it. Red shouts, and belongs on a wall with nothing else asking for attention. Green lands between the two — colored enough to count as a choice, quiet enough to live with down a hallway.
