Kalypso is a shallow bowl of travertine with a band of walnut where it meets the ceiling.
Natural travertine, a walnut wood band, and an acrylic diffuser underneath. The LED is sealed into the body and cannot be swapped out, which is the trade for a profile this flat — nothing hangs down, so nothing gets in the way of a low ceiling. Light passes through acrylic before it passes anything else and arrives warm, at 3000K. One thing the spec sheet does not spell out: the three colors it lists are the parts, not a choice — the stone is beige, the wood is walnut, the diffuser is white, on every unit.
Two diameters. The smaller suits a hallway, a walk-in closet or a small landing, somewhere that needs light and nothing else. The larger is a bedroom or entry fixture, wide enough to be the only thing on the ceiling and shallow enough that nobody notices it until it is on.
