Amphinome stays flush with the plaster until a fingertip brings it out.
Recessed, and built from aluminum alloy and metal, so the wall shows nothing when this is off — no plate, no button. A push on the head brings it forward and lights it; pushing it back level kills the power. Extended, the head pivots, and that is what puts light on your book while the far side of the bed stays dark.
Six finishes, splitting into two camps. The pair of matt colors act as trim and sink into painted plaster. Copper, bronze, chrome and nickel each pick up some other metal in the room — a handle, a picture frame, a tap. Dimming is the second decision: the plain version stays fixed and warm, while the Triac version costs more and needs a Triac dimmer wired in with it. Worth arranging, for the light you switch off last.

A junction box cut out of 170 by 60 by 60 mm. The fixture is 19 cm long, 8 cm wide and 6.5 cm deep, so plan the recess before plastering.

Only the dimmable version, and it needs a Triac dimmer wired in with it. The plain one stays fixed at a warm 3000K.
