Naiades is a circle of light sunk into a rectangular plate.

The cup inside turns through 330°, which is what lets a fixed fitting behave like an adjustable one. At about 1W, treat this as a marker rather than a source: a stair, a corridor, the line of a hallway after midnight.
Black or white, with the dimming question sitting on top of that. Black reads as a deliberate detail against pale plaster; white all but disappears, which is usually the point of recessing something. Dimming is a dearer version, and it expects a Triac dimmer to be fitted alongside — arrange that for a stair you climb at night; skip it where the door switch already does the job.
