Halie balances a full, lit sphere on a stepped block of stone.
A natural travertine backplate and a tiered block base carry a spherical opal glass shade. The stone is left showing its pores and its earthy coloring, and the sphere answers it with light that has no edge at all. A braided power cord runs as a visible detail rather than a hidden necessity. A G9 socket sits behind the glass, and the bulb you fit keeps the tone adjustable for as long as you own it.
It is made one way only. It stands off the wall enough to throw light forward, which suits a bedroom you read in, and it stays narrow enough for the strip beside a door or between two windows. Two of them, level with each other across a bed, read as a pair of small moons and do the job a nightstand lamp would otherwise take up space doing.
