Kirke splits its globe in two — stone above, glow below.
Dark metal arms reach out from a walnut wall mount to carry a globe-shaped shade. The upper section is hand-carved yellow travertine, naturally textured; the lower section is polycarbonate, smooth and matte. Light leaves only through the lower half, even and without glare, while the stone above stays dark and holds the weight of the piece. One G9 socket does the work, and the bulb is yours to supply.
One size, one finish. Because the light is directed downward through the matte half, it does real work rather than only setting a mood — good over a basin, down a passage, or by a bed when you want to read without waking the whole room. The walnut mount keeps it warm enough for a country interior and plain enough for a modern one.
