Kymodoke keeps its light inside a white sphere and lets the stone do the rest.
Glass, yellow travertine and wood, assembled so the spherical shade sits clear of the stone behind it. The sphere is what makes it easy to live with — the light comes out even, with no bright edge to catch you from across a room or from a low chair. One G9 socket, and the bulb you put in it decides the mood. The travertine is quarried rather than printed, so the veining on yours is a pattern nobody else owns.
Two wood tones share one beige stone. Walnut reads darker and gives the fixture weight against pale plaster; wood color stays light and slips in among oak floors and linen. Both are at home in a bedroom, over a sofa, or in the run of corridor a ceiling fitting never quite reaches.
