Alkaios is a row of walnut-grain cylinders that each turn to face a different thing.
The heads are cylinders finished in a walnut wood grain with gold at the joints — metal underneath, wood to look at. Each one turns on its own along the bar, which means a single fixture lights a countertop, a splashback and a picture without settling for a compromise between them. They take GU10 bulbs, the twist-and-lock kind, so the beam is a bulb decision rather than a permanent one. Wiring is standard: a ceiling box, and power off the switch already on the wall.
Four configurations across two bar lengths. Two or three heads on the shorter bar, which suits a galley kitchen, a hallway, or a stretch of open shelving. Four or five heads come on the longer bar — the one for a kitchen island, or a picture wall that has to be lit end to end.

GU10, the twist and lock spotlight type, and bulbs are not included. Because the bulb sets the beam, you can change your mind later without changing the fixture.

There are two bars. The 39.4 inch comes with two or three heads, the 59.1 inch with four or five. Measure the run you want covered and work back from that.

It is hardwired to a ceiling box and runs off the wall switch you already have, though the switch itself is not included. It is rated IP20, for indoor use only.

Most fixtures install like a standard light fitting and include the needed mounting hardware. For hardwired pieces we recommend a qualified electrician.
