Okeanos goes up the wall or across it, and it is a different fixture either way.
One piece of smooth travertine, elongated and softly rounded, with the LED integrated and the glow leaving from behind it. Because the light lands on the wall instead of in the room, the fixture reads as a lit edge rather than as a lamp. The stone keeps the character it was quarried with. Travertine is laid down across a stretch of geological time nobody arranged, so the piece you get carries a grain that no second piece repeats.
Five lengths, one width, and the orientation is yours. Run it vertically beside a doorway or a mirror and the shorter two do the job without taking over. Run it horizontally above a headboard or along a bathroom mirror and the longer lengths come into their own. The longest belongs in a corridor or a stairwell — mounted upright it draws the eye up, laid flat it draws the eye along, and both are legitimate uses of it.
