Nephele is a cloud - a three-dimensional fabric form that reads as something soft floating below the ceiling rather than a fitting bolted to it. The fabric transmits light rather than blocking it, so the whole shape glows from within instead of casting a hard pool downward. In a child's room it is a cloud. In a living room or a cafe it is a piece of sculpture that happens to be lit.
Seven widths run from 12 to 35 inches, and five cloud forms give each one a different silhouette - four white variations and one in colour. The smallest works as a single soft point above a bedside; the largest is a statement over a dining table or a seating area. The suspension cord is 59 inches and adjustable, so the drop can suit the ceiling rather than the other way round.
It ships with a 40W LED bulb already fitted - 2800 lumens, warm white at 3000K - in a standard E26/E27 base. So it works out of the box, and years from now you can still change the bulb rather than the light. One thing to be clear about: there is no dimming, of brightness or colour temperature. Hardwired at 110V, rated IP20, indoor only.
