Damaris brings the farmhouse table indoors from the barn.
The frame is vintage-finished wood, with six glass lantern shades hung from it and an iron chain above. Three materials, three eras, and somehow they agree with each other - that is the trick of this piece. The finish combines painted timber and antique brass, so it sits comfortably against reclaimed wood, painted cabinetry and plain white plaster alike.
Six lamps at warm white 3000K give it real working output: the stated illumination area is 161 to 215 square feet, enough to light a dining room properly rather than just decorate it. The light is ambient and spreads through the lantern glass rather than pointing down in hard cones.
Sockets are E26 / E27, the standard household base, rated to 10W per bulb and running on 110-120V. At 22 inches wide, 17 deep and 39 high with a 12-inch adjustable chain, it hangs low enough to feel like a centrepiece over a table.
