Mneme is a metal cap of warm light you can pick up and move.
Metal, molded, cut, then polished by hand — the maker reckons every piece ends up slightly its own. A battery inside charges over USB, which means it stays wherever you put it down and never asks for a socket. It makes warm 3000K light and nothing else, and a touch is the only control: one tap on, one tap off.
Black, pink or blue. Black behaves like furniture and will not date on you. Pink and blue are both saturated rather than pastel, and they land best on a plain surface — a white shelf, a pale nightstand — where the color is the only thing going on.
