Leiriope is a lotus leaf lit from the inside.
Each shade is leaf-shaped frosted glass, held on a warm gold metal frame. The frosting does the real work: it takes the bulb behind it and turns it into a soft, harmonious light that settles over a room instead of glaring out of it. The glass comes clear frosted or pink frosted, and the gold reads warm against either. It takes a standard E26 or E27 bulb, LED or Edison, and a warm filament bulb at 2700-3000K is the one that suits the glass. Bulbs are not included, and the fixture is as good to look at unlit as it is switched on.
Both versions hang in the same footprint, so the choice is about light rather than scale. Three shades is the quieter one - a hallway, a reading corner, the space beside a bed. Six gives you the output to work under, which is what you want over a dining table or a kitchen island where people are doing things. Clear frosted glass stays neutral against a gold frame; the pink glass pushes the whole fixture warmer, and it shows most in a room that sees evening light.
