Evadne is a satellite with fireflies caught in it.
Dozens of slender iron arms radiate from a central hub, each ending in a small acrylic tip that lights up on its own. From across the room it reads as points of light suspended in air; up close you can see the geometry holding it all together. The base is solid metal, which is what keeps a fixture this open feeling stable rather than fragile.
It comes in four densities - 27, 36, 45 or 54 lights - and the spread grows with the count, from 28.35 inches across up to 35.83 inches. Each lamp draws 3W at 70 lumens per watt, and the light is ambient rather than directional, filling roughly 150 to 200 square feet without glare from a single source.
Three finishes are offered: transparent, white, and a transparent double-layer version with a second tier of arms. Sockets are G4, so despite the number of lamps, installation is straightforward - the bulbs push in rather than screw. Colour temperature is your choice: warm white, neutral or white.
