Lachesis is a filament held still inside glass.
The body is metal with a warm copper plating, and the shade is glass in one of two finishes. Transparent leaves the bulb on show, so the filament itself becomes the ornament; frosted smoke gray turns the same bulb into a soft, even glow with the copper reading through it. Both finishes are made in every size, and both take a standard E26 or E27 bulb, so the warmth of the light stays your decision — a 2700K Edison filament is what this glass was drawn for. Each pendant hangs on a 59-inch adjustable cable and wires into the ceiling.
There are two forms and they are not interchangeable. Capsule is the elongated oval — it drops in a narrow line, which suits a run above a kitchen island, a bar, or a pair either side of a bed. Sphere is the round ball form, and it throws light out in all directions, so it does more work as a single pendant over a side table or in an entry. Because the cable is adjustable, the real reward is mixing them: hang three or five at staggered heights over a dining table and the group reads as one piece.

The bulb is not included and the finish you pick should decide it. Behind transparent glass a visible filament is the whole effect; behind frosted smoke gray, any warm bulb will do, because the glass is doing the diffusing.
