Nikandros is a handful of lit bars, caught mid cross.
A single upright column runs down the centre and three or five slim bars cross it at different heights and angles, so the fixture reads as a scatter of lines rather than one straight run. The frame is iron in black or white, and each bar carries a food-grade silicone diffuser along its underside instead of glass or metal. Silicone is the unusual part and it earns its place: it spreads the LED behind it so the light comes out soft and even, with no bright spot to catch your eye when you are sitting under it. It also will not chip.
Nordic in the plain sense - geometry, two colors, nothing applied. Black reads graphic against a pale ceiling; white almost disappears and lets the light do the talking. Because the light comes off lines rather than a single point, it spreads across a kitchen island, a dining table or a run of desks instead of pooling in the middle of the room.
Pick your light before you order. The 3-light draws 25W, the 5-light 50W, and each comes in three versions: fixed warm white at 3000K, fixed cool white at 6000K, or the dimmable model that runs the full 3000K-6000K range and adjusts brightness too. The 1-metre cord is adjustable, so you can set the drop to suit your ceiling and the height of the table below.

Which version to take: if the light sits over a table you also work at, take the dimmable - it is the only one that lets you go from bright and neutral in the afternoon to low and warm at dinner. Note that the dimmable model is adjusted by remote control rather than the wall switch.
