Marble, iron and metal. The cover is the part that changes the character — gold makes it read as jewelry on the wall, black makes it read as architecture — while the marble stays white underneath either. It runs a G9 bulb at around 5W, so the output stays low and the light stays soft. Marble is quarried, not printed, so the pattern on the piece delivered will differ from the photographs; that variation is the material and not a fault.
One size, two covers. Gold with white is the warmer pairing and suits a bedroom or a dressing area. Black with white runs cooler and sharper, which is what a study, a landing or a bathroom with dark hardware wants. In both cases the light comes out of the sconce rather than at you.
