Iphitos is four wooden heads on a bar, each one aimed by hand.
An iron body with wooden shades over four adjustable heads, in black with walnut or white with a lighter wood. Every head turns, so one bar covers a dining table, a counter and the wall behind them without settling into a compromise position. It runs E26 or E27 sockets and arrives with LED bulbs already fitted, which is unusual enough to be worth saying. It is damp rated too, which puts damp rooms and sheltered outdoor spots back in range.
Two pairings, and they are pairings rather than free choices: black body with walnut heads, or white body with the lighter wood. The walnut version belongs in a room with dark furniture and warm floors. The white and light wood is the Scandinavian read — a pale kitchen, a bright hallway, a room where the ceiling should stay quiet.
