Epikles is a glass-shaded iron chandelier that comes in two quite different shapes.

The frame is iron, finished either in baked sand black or electroplated brass. The black settles into a room quietly; the brass is the one people look up at. Every shade is clear glass with high transmittance, so the bulb stays visible and the light is not softened away before it reaches the table.

Two shapes, not two sizes. The 8-head is a 37-inch round at 75 lb; the 10-head is linear, 53.94 inches long and 13.78 inches deep, at 44 lb. Sockets are universal E12 and bulbs are not included, so the colour temperature and bulb shape are yours to choose. A 59.1-inch chain sets the drop.

Match the shape to the table. The round 8-head wants a square room or a round table; the 10-head is built to run the length of a rectangular dining table or a kitchen island. Both are heavy enough that the ceiling box has to be rated for the load, the round one especially at 75 pounds.
