Aoide is a feather pressed to the wall and lit from within.
Cast resin, finished white and gold, its diode buried in the body — nothing protrudes, nothing ever needs changing. Warm 3000K light passes out through the resin instead of bouncing off it, which means the whole shape glows, not the bulb. Gold picks out the edges and stops it reading as a plain white panel.
Two heights. Let the wall decide. The shorter fits a corner, a narrow return, the gap alongside a door — accent work. The taller runs close to three feet and behaves like art, so give it an empty stair wall or a headboard wall with room above.
